Q: How do I get from the San Francisco International Airport to the hotel?
A: The hotel provides free van from the airport to the hotel every hour. Telephone the hotel for pickup.
Q: How can I register?
A: In the Spring of 2004 registration forms will be available to be downloaded. We accept checks in US currency only.
Q: Do I have to register for every meal and activity?
A: Daily registration for Friday, September 10th and Saturday, September 11th include lunch and Convention pin. Any other activities you wish to partake in are your choice. There will be the option of paying for a guest at a meal who would not be attending the Convention, for example, bringing a spouse to the big Saturday night banquet.
Q: How do I get to the hotel by driving?
A: From the NORTH cross the Golden Gate Bridge, stay on US 101
South towards San Jose, south of the airport take Hwy 92 east towards San Mateo
Bridge. Exit at Foster City Blvd., turn right on Metro Center . Turn right on
Vintage Park and right on Chess Drive.
From the SOUTH go north on US
101, at San Mateo take Hwy 92 east towards the bridge. Exit at Foster City
Blvd, turn right on Metro Center. Turn right on Vintage Park and right on Chess
Drive.
From the EAST go west across the San Mateo Bridge on Hwy 92,
exit at Foster City Blvd. Continue west on Chess Dr. and just past the hotel
parking structure you can U-turn to the front of the hotel.
Q: What about parking?
A: Parking is free at the hotel. There is a parking structure west of the hotel and motorhome (no hook-ups) and van parking at the rear of the hotel .
Q: Any shopping near by?
A: Bridgepointe Shopping Center is two blocks away with practically any kind of store or restaurant you might need.
Q: What about the weather?
A: Traditionally, the Bay Area’s weather is best in September . Usually warm in the 70s or 80s , little or no fog but can be cooler in the evening as the hotel is near the San Francisco Bay.
