An Invitation to Participate


The American Fuchsia Society is hosting a Fuchsia Convention September 10-12, 2004 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Foster City, California. We expect 250-300 attendees to gather for exhibits, tours, banquets and seminars celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the American Fuchsia Society. We expect attendees from all over the Western US, Western Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand and other places where fuchsia societies exist. There are two ways that a commercial company can participate. First, we will have a Sales Room where you could rent a table to sell or promote your product or craft. It would have to be fuchsia related or garden related. We will provide a 6 foot covered and skirted table, space and chairs for $25 a day on Friday, Sept. 10 and $25 a day on Saturday, Sept. 11 and $10 for Sunday, Sept. 12.

Presently, the planned operation hours will be:

Friday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
8:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Sunday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon

If you reserve a table for Friday, you may move in on Thursday and we plan to have the Sales Room open from 7p-10p (as a freebie) for people registering. The Sales Room will be closed and locked all other times.

The second way your company can participate is by taking out a advertisement in the free multi-page program that will be given to every attendee. A quarter page ad of your own design would be $25.
