Congratulations to Bill & Theresa Stanley, winners of the jump tickets at the October meeting.

Christmas Party:  This year's potluck will be on Saturday, December 11th at the Springtown Hall in Livermore starting at 6:00 p.m.  The Club will be providing turkey, ham, wine, and paper plates & plastic glasses and utensils but you will need to bring your own beverages.  If you prefer, bring your own china and crystal.  Food is being coordinated by Madalyn Drago; give her a call at (650) 359-1227 or E-mail at madalyn@pacbell.net to let her know that you are coming and what you will be bringing.  Also, bring your old pictures, scrapbooks, gear and other memorabilia to share; there will be plenty of table space for display.  If you have video tape to show or CDs to play, bring them also as equipment will be available.  Charloa Smith needs volunteers to help set up chairs, tables, and decorations starting at 4:00 p.m.  Give Charloa a call at (925) 447-1624 if you can lend a hand.  There will be lots of door prizes this year: 25 USPA calendars, 10 jump tickets for Lodi and 10 for Byron.  Time is growing short, so give Madalyn a call now and let her know you will be attending.

Bill Stanley is already making plans for the trip to the Freefall Convention in Quincy next year.  If you are planning on going or need information, give Bill a call at (408) 923-4641.  Also, Bill & Theresa are planning a trip to Las Vegas the weekend before May 15th and invite other Club members to join them there.

While the debate over the year 2000 being the start of a new millennium continues, it is known to be a leap year.  Therefore, as every leap year, the Club will have a Leap Day celebration (come rain or shine) at Lodi on Tuesday, February 29th.  Mark your calendar now!

Several Cal Club patches (with the California logo) are still available.  If you don't have one or your old one has become unrecognizable, contact the Secretary to get one now or pick one up at the Christmas Dinner.
